Dalian SHIDAO Company was founded in 1996. After over 20 years of continuous struggle and effort, it has become a leader in the shipping industry and now boasts four subsidiaries: Dalian Yidao Machinery Co., Ltd., Dalian Shidao Industry Co., Ltd., Dalian Yite Casting Co., Ltd., and Dalian Nuomei Hydraulic Components Co., Ltd. In recent years, it has continued to grow, with its output value increasing year by year. Over the past 20 years, it has achieved a peak output value of approximately 80 million US dollars.

In 2015, Dalian SHIDAO produced and delivered approximately 40% of the global market share of container ship binding components, making it the world's largest production base for container ship binding components. Over the years, it has been equipping the world's largest container ships for renowned international shipowners such as China Shipping and Maersk. At least one out of every three container ships at sea is equipped with a binding system provided by our SHIDAO team. In 2015, the company's -50°C low-temperature marine crane was equipped on the world's first polar heavy-duty icebreaking deck transport vessel, the AUDAX. In 2018, based on previous production and research experience, it successfully equipped China's self-built first icebreaking vessel, the "Xuelong 2", for the polar scientific research project with a polar deck service crane. The related content was reported by the CCTV-2 "Economic Half Hour" program's "National Treasures" segment, which sparked strong social response. In 2019, it provided the binding system for the world's first series of 23,000TEU container ships, the MSC Mina, and supplied the A-frame crane for the 100-ton, 10,000-meter deployment system for the "Exploration 2", a support vessel for China's fully domestically equipped manned submersible for scientific research operations. In 2020, it produced complete towing hook equipment, providing one-stop services to European customers. In 2021, it collaborated with domestic research institutions to develop the first burial plow deployment and recovery system in China. In 2022, it provided the first domestically-created telescopic crane for the "Xiangyanghong 05" research vessel. In 2023, it provided the marine deployment system A-frame crane and telescopic arm crane for the "Exploration 3", and broke through ultra-low temperature and ultra-high strength plate welding technology in China, successfully delivering a single-arm 55-meter European new-generation wind power installation marine crane, completing the municipal "Reveal and Lead" project - the polar anti-roll marine crane. In 2024, it successfully delivered the self-developed marine A-frame crane, successfully revealing the "Reveal and Lead" project in Liaoning Province - a deep-sea stable corridor bridge.
